I'm Blonde Now?! {My 100th Post}

If you remember, last August I dyed my hair for the first time. I asked for something natural while still giving me a little change. I got what I asked for but I don't think it's what I really pictured in my head (see photo to the right). However, the color did last quite a long time; in fact, I still have some of those highlights left in my hair today.

This time around I wanted a real change. Below you will find the pictures that I showed to my colorist. I wanted to go with a blonde balayage while keeping my roots dark. I was not afraid of going bright-- I just knew I didn't want to look ashy or orange. I found my colorist, Jennifer, by referral and put all of my tust in her.

The whole process took about four and a half hours (I have a lot of hair...). I let her know that I wanted it all to blend well and colored in a way that it would look best natural, parted however it wanted to that day and worn in all sorts of styles (up, half-up, down, etc.). So, below are the final results.

I feel like my hair looks so different depending on the lighting. It is taking some getting used to because of the dramatic change but I think I like it! I am still figuring out how I like to wear it and where I like to part it but I think I will grow to love it! It is different and definitely blonde; but, it is exactly what I asked for!

Stay tuned for an update in about a month or so about how I am liking it and what I am using to maintain it!

What do you guys think of my new hair? How do you like to style your balayage? Let me know! :)
