Your New Favourite Budget-Friendly Lippies

Hello there! It's Dee from BlonDee's Beauty, and I'm here today guest posting on the lovely Madeline's blog where it's all about one of my favourite makeup products - lipstick. For me, lipstick is a major confidence booster (especially if it's a classic red!), and nothing excites me more than discovering a good quality affordable lipstick. So without further ado, let's talk favourite budget-friendly lippies!

MAYBELLINE THE LOADED BOLDS

This range is fairly new here in Australia and I have not tried a single lip product by Maybelline that I haven't enjoyed. 'Berry Bossy' is a stunning cool toned deep plum that is very Winter appropriate and will definitely make your pout stand out! The highly pigmented creamy formula applies effortlessly over the lips leaving you with a lovely satin finish that lasts. If you love to rock a bold lip, this line is worth looking into.

MAX FACTOR LIPFINITY

'Evermore Lush' is a subdued mauve-pink that makes your lips appear healthier with how moisturising the formula is. The colour pay off is fantastic, it applies like an absolute dream and the texture is incredibly soft - almost like cashmere! This has become one of my go-to's for daytime wear, and sometimes I even like to lightly dab it on to create more of a natural lip look.

NYX HIGH VOLTAGE

I don't typically reach for beige shades of nude (I like mine with a pink undertone), but 'Flawless' over the top of a darker nude lip colour gives me that subtle ombré effect that is still quite on-trend at the moment. It leaves a nice sheen on the lips and it smells just like a dessert! This shade paired with a sultry smokey eye would look absolutely gorgeous for a night out. It's a great lippie overall and for $5 you really can't complain!

COVERGIRL KATY KAT MATTE

I am such a sucker for mauve tones of lipstick and I simply could not resist 'Kitty Purry'. First of all, the packaging is just the sweetest (and totally Katy Perry!), and the cap has that luxe NARS packaging feel which I really admire. The lipstick itself has a demi-matte finish that feels ultra velvety and lightweight on the lips and I have to say, I am truly obsessed. I'd also love to get my hands on the shade 'Catoure' because one can never have too many nude lipsticks!

What are your favourite budget-friendly lippies?
