I listened to this podcast, "Show Up Before You're Ready," by Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of Eat, Pray, Love and Big Magic, on the train this morning and felt so many overwhelming emotions. ​​

I had a tough day yesterday and needed some encouragement by

someone who knew nothing about the situation, someone unbiased. I turned to a podcast for that and it’s exactly what I got.

If you’re in a rut, especially creatively or emotionally, you need to hear what she has to say. While I couldn’t directly relate to the situations she discussed, the advice she gave was something I absolutely needed.
