My New Subscription Box!
Goodbye, Sephora Play! and hello, Boxycharm!
Honestly, I was getting a little bored with my Sephora box; I felt like the
samples were lacking and I was getting sent a lot of products that have just ended up sitting in my drawers. So, I decided to switch it up and subscribe to Boxycharm! This box is just over $20 per month and includes amazing (and usually full-sized) products. I had heard such great things so I thought I would try it out. Here is what my June Box looked like:
Alamar Eyeshadow Palette— $28 : OK, this alone is more than the box itself (I paid $21 for the monthly subscription) so it's already worth the money! I first saw this palette on Kathleen Lights' YouTube channel and I immediately knew I wanted to try it; just my luck that it's in this month's box! The shades are stunning and the formula is perfectly creamy. I love that I can create a bold look or something more subtle with the same palette. And, can we talk about these shimmers?! Holy gorgeousness!
Battington Silk Eyelashes— $28 : Woah! I rarely ever use lashes but these are stunning! They are wispy and feminine-- perfect for any look! I have not heard of this brand before but they really do look so beautiful!
Sol De Janiero Brazilian Bum Bum Cream— $10 : I just recently tried the Body Mask in this line so I was super excited to see this in my box! The smell of this body butter is heavenly and applies like a dream! This is a very rich lotion so a little bit goes a long way. And, I love that this is travel-sized; it's perfect for my Lake House bag!
Luxie Three Piece Brush Set— $42 : Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I got this brush set! I love Luxie brushes so this is
amazing! They are so well-made and apply all products effortlessly. I'm so happy I got not one but three of them in this box!
Jonteblu Eyeliner— $5 : Everyone needs a good waterproof liner in their collection. Whether you are
swimming in the ocean or going to work, there is always a good time for liner! At only five bucks, why not pick this one up and try it for yourself?!
Ofra Liquid Lipstick— $21 : This liquid lip is a little too brown for me but I do think it is a gorgeous shade! The formula of this seems really great and I have heard nothing but good things about their products. While I will be giving this away (due to the shade alone) I am impressed how nice of a product they put in this box.
