The Best Mascaras of All Time
If you haven't noticed already, I am a mascara fiend. I love to layer and test mascaras in order to find the perfect one for me. When I am trying mascaras I look for lengthening, pigmentation, volume and curl. I have tested what feels like hundreds of mascaras and have landed on a top five!
This is the best drugstore mascara out there, no doubt about it! Any time someone asks me to recommend a mascara I suggest this one. It separates the lashes beautifully, makes them incredibly dark, lengthens and voluminizes instantly-- basically, it's amazing and everyone needs to try it! I haven't had a single person come back to me and tell me they don't like this product, it's exactly the opposite. And, at a price-point of under $10 this is a great (even better IMO) alternative to a high-end mascara.
This is a new favorite I discovered through my Boxycharm subscription. This adds lots to length and separation to my lashes. I like to use this mascara as a base for whatever I am putting on top of it. If you like your current mascara but want a little more oomf from your lashes, try mixing it with this one from Wander Beauty.
This is the only lower lash mascara I use! This literally never runs on me and I have very oily under-eyes so that's a big deal! This is also incredibly pigmented so a little goes a long way. I like to use this heavy-handedly when I want a glam look or just with a quick swipe for more natural bottom lashes. This separates my lashes too which makes me look more away without my lashes looking fake. I love it!
An oldie but a goodie! This was super hyped-up on YouTube for good reason. If you want to stick to high-end mascaras you'll like this one. It gives the most beautiful wispy curl to your lashes while separating them at the same time. This does not add too much pigmentation nor does it add volume but if you're looking for a natural-looking mascara this one is great!
This is so good if you're looking for a one-size-fits-all mascara! When I say that I mean a mascara that will give you length, volume, darkness and separation. I get this as samples so frequently that I've never had to purchase a full one on my own. But also so often that I use it all the time and fall more and more in love each time I use it. This is more on the high-end side but definitely adds more depth and volume than the Benefit Roller Lash. So, if you want high-end that will do it all, go with this one!
I love mascara! It is the one makeup product I cannot live without. I think it adds such a beautiful touch whether you're bare-faced or full glam. You cannot go wrong with mascara!
What is your favorite mascara? Are you a high-end or drugstore mascara kind of gal? Let me know!
